There once was a bird who was afraid of heights so he decided to jump off a cliff and stop being afraid of heights and he jumped off a cliff and flew high in the sky and got over his fear of heights

Johny was popular, strong, handsome, practically everything a boy wanted to be. He especially loved Christmas and GIFTS! He didn't believe in Santa, He said only first graders believed in Santa, but on Christmas eve as Johny was dreaming of presents Santa came down the chimney with a sack full of coal. Johnny was sleeping on the couch by the Christmas tree so when Santa came in he woke up. Johnny rubbed his eyes to make sure that he wasn't seeing things, but sure enough there was a fat man in a red suit. "Santa?" Johnny asked in amazement. Santa looked sad. "Yes, it's me." "I didn't think you were really!" Johnny said. "I know," Santa replied. "You haven't been a very good boy this year. So you are only getting coal in your stocking." Johnny started to cry. "But I didn't know! Please give me some presents." Santa sprinkled some magic dust on him and Johnny went right to sleep. When Johnny woke up, he rushed to his stocking to see what was inside. It looked like coal, but when he picked it up and licked it, it tasted like chocolate. Inside was a note: Dear Johnny, You have not been very nice this year, but I love you and hated to see you so sad. I gave you coal but it is chocolate. Enjoy! Love Santa. And from then on, Johnny always believed in Santa.

One year, Amy got a lego advent calender and she was very excited to open up each day and build a little lego city bit by bit. What she didn't know is that when she turned around, the legos came to life. That night as she went to bed the little legos awoke. "It's stuffy in here" a voice said from one of the boxes. The lego figure pushed open the box and fell flat on the desk. "Hey guys" the figure yelled. "We can build into our city now". Slowly each of the pieces cam together. What Amy awoke to was much better then building a city. On her desk was the prettiest Christmas tree made out of legos.

Christmas Goose

There was once a goose who loved  Christmas except when he found out that he was going to get eaten. Then he hated Christmas! He went into hiding so that he wouldn't be eaten and even flew far away to India, hoping that no one would eat him for Christmas. But that year everyone decided to eat ham instead and so the goose was saved. Then he liked Christmas again.

The littlest giant

There once was a family of giants in which there were four giant children. The first one was named Gary and he was as tall as a skyscraper. The second one was named Lora and she was as tall as the Statue of Liberty. The third one was named Albert and he was as tall as a house. But the youngest giant was named Alice and she was the size of a normal human. All of the giants laughed at her and made fun of her small size. She could never reach things on the giant shelves or touch her feet to the floor when sitting in giant chairs. But then one days, she left giantville. She walked for days until  she made to a city with people the same size as her. Her feet touched the ground when she sat in chairs, and all the food was just enough to fill her up. and she lived happily ever after.

Mira Spirits school of gouls

There was once a elementary school that was called Mira Spirits School Of Ghouls. No one went to that school except monsters. One day a new girl decided she wanted to go to that school. Her mom signed her up. The next day the girl started walking to school when she suddenly felt a cold hand on her shoulder. She turned around to see the long fingers of a vampire. The vampire smiled with pointy fangs. "What's your name?" the vampire asked. "I'm Lily," the new girl said. "What's your name?" "Amy," the vampire replied and then, looking at Lily more closely, asked, "Are you a goblin? Or a ghost? Or a frankenstein? You don't look like another vampire." "I'm just a girl," Lily replied. The vampire looked confused. "But this is a school for monsters!" she said. Lily smiled. "I like monsters. Do you like me?" Amy thought about it and finally smiled too. "I do," she said. And they soon became fast friends. And even though she wasn't a monster, Lily really enjoyed Mira Spirits School of Ghouls.

There once was a girl named Anna who was turning 15 years old. She woke up on her birthday and smiled because it was her birthday. She got up to get some cereal for breakfast, but she noticed a large and strange package right outside of her bedroom. "What's this?" she thought. "A birthday present?" So she carefully started to unwrap it. The wrapping paper was silver and beautiful. She carefully tore the paper. Inside was... Nothing. Anna looked on every edge, but there was absolutely nothing in it. She noticed a note though. It was written on boring paper, but it was so touching to Anna. That day she learned the importance of giving to others.

Shanta hauntes

There once was a girl named Shanta Hauntes every one thought she was haunted because of her last name. One day a new girl moved in Shanta new this girl was soon going to call her haunted to so she had a plan to make her believe it. She invited the new girl over to have some cookies and milk. When the girl came over, Shanta said, "My parents aren't home, so it will just be us." The new girl didn't mind. They sat down to eat their milk and cookies, but suddenly all the lights went out. "That's weird," the new girl said. "I'll get some candles," Shanta replied and so she brought some candles out. Then the lights came back on. And then the TV turned on all by itself but it was just static on the other end. The new girl looked really scared. "What is going on?" she asked. "I'm Shanta Hauntes," Shanta replied, "and my house is haunted." The girl ran away screaming but no one ever made fun of Shanta again because they were so scared.

Hey Rach I know this isn't a story and I'm probably going to delete this after you see it, but I need to update you since I haven't skyped you in a while. first, Toby is wearing and has been for 6 days. Only 4 more days Tobs. And we're putting up Christmas stuff. Yeah,but I'm sad you won't be there. Plus next Wednsday we're going to Disneyland and when we get back I have a piano recital and then we go to Las Vegas, Then I have  a choir recital.

Wow--that is really busy! Are you excited for Disneyland? What are you playing for the piano recital? I saw a picture on Facebook that Beth put up of Toby with a cone on his head because he got fixed :( Poor Toby! Does he hate the cone? Are you excited to go to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving? What are you singing at the choir recital?

 yes I'm excited for disneyland  and I'm playing I know that my redeemer lives (I'm also playing it in church) yes I'm excited for thanksgiving. And me and Anna are going to use the count down thing we made.

A Windy Day

Sarah loved to play outside, but shes always hated winter because she didn't like being cooped up all day. One day it was super windy. "Noooooo" Sarah yelled. "Winter is upon us no more playing outside" she said. She called her friend, and told her the bad news. 'What" she said. "You don't like winter?, "but winter is the best time to play outside" Shelly said(Shelly is Sarah's friends name.) Sarah was shocked, "but how can you have fun in winter" Sarah said. So Shelly decided to show her how fun winter could be. They built a snowman, made snow angels, drank hot chocolate with marshmallows in it, and had lots of fun. At the end of the day, Sarah said, "I love winter!"

The magic chocolate bar

There once was a girl named Islay. She was a chocoholic--she loved anything chocolate. One day, she bought a chocolate bar that looked different than the usual chocolate bars. It had bright green wrapping and on the wrapping it said, "Magic." Islay thought that all chocolate was magical because it was so delicious, so she took a big bite. Her stomach felt tingly "wow" she said. This is the best candy bar I've ever had. Islay was blind, and soon found that the candy bar not only healed her but gave her healing powers. Now she is the wisest person on earth.

There once was a girl named Maya. Who could only start a story and couldn't finish it. Her mother took her to the doctor, and her school teacher tried many different methods. One day Maya decided she was going to find someone that could finish her stories. She met a girl named Rachel who started finishing Mayas stories. They were great friends because Rachel had a problem too: she could only finish stories, not start the. So Maya would start the stories and Rachel would finish the stories and they always turned out to be beautiful tales about magic and dragons and princesses and all sorts of wonderful things like that.

The day the sun fell

One day, as the children of earth were playing outside on trampolines and swing sets and playgrounds, the sun fell. That's right--it dropped out of the sky and the whole world went dark, except for the small light from the moon and stars. Frightened, the people of earth came together to decide what to do. A mother screamed in horror for she was a mother of 21 kids and couldn't keep track of all of them. Finally a girl screamed "STOP" " I know were all scared, but there is an easy solution to this" she said. "We must go up in space and live on the moon". Everyone looked at her. "OK" they all yelled. That day they set off for the moon in a rocket ship. When they got there they made Ginny(That's the name of the girl who thought of the idea) The princess of the moon. Ginny laughed and turned all of the townsfolk into alien minions. "Ha fools" She said in an evil voice. "Now your my minions, and you must obey my every command". The alien minions were shocked, but did what they were told.

A Spooky poem

There once was a monster who was terribly hungry
His tummy rumbled and jumbled and jumped.
He was so hungry that he went outside to find a meal in the day
The day is the time when a monster is forbidden to play.

And what he saw when he went out in the sun,
Was enough to scare the pants off anyone!
There were HUMANS at play--they were the scariest things
That the littlest monster had ever seen.

The monster was frozen, he couldn't move at all
And a human girl saw him, she was pretty and small
She came to the monster and said, "Want to play?"
And he thought, "Maybe these humans aren't as scary anyway."

Talking to animals

Anna was five years old when she realized she could talk to animals. It happened one day when she was playing in her yard and she heard someone say, "Hey, that's my mouse!" Quickly she turned around but didn't see anyone there. She started playing again but then she heard the voice say, "I want the head!" Finally, she realized that he was two of the neighbor's cats fighting over a mouse. Anna had always loved animals, but she soon discovered that the gift was a blessing and a curse. Anne used her powers wherever she went and most of the time only listened to animals and nothing else. One day her mom took her to the doctor. Anne was so distracted she wouldn't and soon found that she couldn't hear anything else, but animals. Soon Anne got quite tired of only hearing animals. How she dearly wished she could hear humans again. The next day Anne had another doctors appointment. They found out it was just a piece of lint in her ear. Now Anne can hear humans and animals and all is well.

Mr. Thanksgiving

Mr. Thanksgiving was a turkey, but this wasn't any ordinary turkey. He was a proud turkey. Who had lushes feathers, and a beautiful beak. He loved being the center of attention, and having every turkey girl go gaga over him. One day on the last Thursday of November he noticed he was a little overweight. "That won't do!" he thought, because he wanted to be hot and muscly. But before he could go do some exercises, a big truck pulled up. Someone got out of the truck and threw him into the van. He was so scared! He flapped his wings and gobbled for help but no one heard him. Finally he was taken to a butcher shop where they were going to cook him for thanksgiving. But the butcher took one look at him and said, "This one is not fat enough! He is too muscly." And so in the end, the turkey's pride and vanity saved his life.

The Greedy Man

There once was a man who was very greedy. He wanted gold more than anything else in the world, but he also liked diamonds and rubies and emeralds. He made lots of money by stealing from other people and then he would sit in his room and home and count all of his coins and his precious stones. But one day, a little girl moved in next door to the man. The next day the man decided he would take a walk, and pick up all the change that had fallen out of peoples pockets, but little did he know that that same morning the new girl had decided to take a walk to. The man was very much enjoying his walk when suddenly the new girl walked right up next to him. "Hi" she said. The man ignored her gesture and kept walking. She realized what the man was doing and said hi again. This time he responded. "Have any money?" he asked. She was shocked by his response, but continued walking. Finally he got the nerves and looked at her. Even though she was sweaty she was the prettiest woman he had ever seen. He started up on a conversation, and soon they went on a date. They still aren't married, but there happy and maybe one day the greedy man will get the nerves to give the woman of his dreams something in return for making him happy.

The Sad Little Girl

Once upon a time in the small village of Crankerpoop there was a girl named Sofia. Sofia was always sad because she had no heritage, she was all alone. One day as she was walking through the small village of Crankerpoop she saw a stream with clear fresh water flowing out. Since everyone in the small village of Crankerpoop were poor they never got cold, fresh, clear water. She slowly stooped down cupping her hands to catch the water. But the water kept slipping through her fingers and so she wasn't able to carry it into town. She ran into town and yelled, "Quick! Bring your pails and buckets and cups! There's lovely water up here!" So everyone came out of their houses with pails and buckets and cups and followed Sofia to the stream. Everyone was laughing and drinking and playing in the water -- Sofia had never seen everyone so happy. But it wasn't until that night that the greatest surprise of all came. The water was magic water that healed everyone. People who couldn't walk or had bad eyesight could suddenly walk and see! And best of all, Sofia's poor lonely heart was healed and now she had so many friends.

Princess Poem

In a castle, far away                                                                                                                     
There lived a princess, locked away
She waited for her prince to come                      
But wished that she could just go home

One day she got some courage and
Escaped the tower without a man
But when she landed on the ground
She heard a horrible monster sound ...

She looked up as fast as a bunny
She thought it was her dad so she yelled
"THAT'S NOT FUNNY"
But out of the blue a a dragon arose

"Who are you?" the dragon said.
 "A princess," but her face went red
Because she was so frightened that
She fainted on the spot, kersplat.

When the princess opened up her eyes
She found to her surprise
That she was in a fancy bed
With gold and lacy and satin spread

When footsteps came, she looked up then
At a handsome prince who said, "I'm Ben"
"But where's the dragon that was here?"
"It's me, a horrid curse, my dear"
They fell in love instantly and got married on Christmas Eve

The littlest fairy

Rose was a flower fairy. She was born from a rose petal and that's why she was called Rose. But she was almost eighteen years old and she was looking for love. She wanted to find a nice boy fairy who would take long walks in the flowers with her and who would fly into the moonlight with her. But where would she find someone like that? She never stopped thinking of that idea, but she didn't show it... At all. Rose was a very unique fairy, and her mom told her that she shouldn't be devastated  if she never even got married. Rose tried to like, and be nice to her mother but she couldn't love her mother, but Rose's father she couldn't live without and when he died she mourned for months and months. Now though Rose was looking for a new life, a new begging, a new love. One day as Rose was walking in the woods she saw a man that she instantly fall in love. Every day she would go into the woods just to watch the man. One day as she was walking into the woods she realized that the man was not there she was surprised yet discouraged. She started to head for home when she bumped into a tall figure. "Sorry" Rose said as she picked herself up. She looked up, and saw the man they started to talk and instantly fell in love. I one month they were married, and they lived happily ever after

Trick or Treat

Sarah loved trick or treating it was her favorite thing to do (on Halloween of coarse), so when Halloween came around Sarah was so excited that she decided she was going to trick or treat at every house on her block. When Halloween came around Sarah was so excited. She started going to the houses that she went to every year first, then she went to the other side of the block. Sarah was a little scared, but wasn't going to let her fear discourage her. She slowly walked up to the first door, and knocked on the handle. Slowly the door creaked open....but no one was there, only a dark house. Sarah peeked her head inside and said nervously, "Hello?" She took one step in and said it again. "Hello?" Suddenly the door slammed shut behind her and she was alone in the dark. She reached out for the door knob and wiggled it frantically, but it was locked. There was an evil laugh down the hall and Sarah was so scared that she was frozen in place and couldn't move. There was the sound of the match being struck and then a candle in the darkness. The person holding the candle was a witch with a pointy nose and a long chin with a big wart at the end. The witch laughed again. Sarah screamed and put her hands over her eyes. "Here for candy?" the witch asked. Sarah slowly moved her hands. "Huh?" The witch held out a bowl of candy. "Happy Halloween!" And the witch and Sarah became good friends. And every year after that, Sarah went to trick or treat at the witch's house.

ABC

There once was a teacher who loved to teach. One day as she was teaching a class she noticed that no one was listening to her they were all reading. "HEY" she snapped. They looked up from there books as fast as a bunny. "Why don't you snobs ever listen to me" she said in a mad voice. "I hate children" She mumbled. "The only reason I teach here is because I love to teach not because I like children" she yelled. The children looked surprised if there teacher didn't like children, they were going to get her to like children...So the next day, the teacher came to school to see that all the students were already in class sitting nicely. There was a shiny apple on her desk and someone had cleaned the blackboard for her. She looked around suspiciously, "What's going on?" she asked. "We like you," one girl said. "You're nice," a boy chimed in. As the teacher stood there, confused but touched, one by one the class started to come up and give her a hug until they were all there in a gigantic bear hug together. And the teacher decided that she actually did like children most of the time, and so she continued to be a good teacher.

The True Story of How Halloween Became a Holiday

The Martin family was a unique family. They had 16 kids and a mom and a dad. None of their kids were alike, and that's how they like it. One day Sally the youngest decided that she was bored of having no one to play with. She went to every bedroom door knocking and asking if they wanted to play, but still no one would play. she decided that enough was enough she was going to put and end to this alone feeling she had, so she decided that she was going to make a holiday on October, 31, and it was going to be the best holiday yet. When October, 31 came she was ready. She dressed up in a witches costume grabbed a bag and knocked on her sisters bedroom door when she answered she screamed and fell backwards. Trick or treat Sally said her sister blinked realizing who it was. "What are you doing" her sister said. Participating in a holiday Sally said. Her sister stared for a while then spoke. "Looks like fun can I join". Sure Sally said, and from then on Halloween was known as holiday in the Martin family until their neighbors caught on, and it kept spreading. That's the true story of how Halloween was made a holiday.

A spooky Halloween story

Eve lived on a street with many old houses on it, but none of the houses were as scary as the one in which Mrs. Heller lived. She was a mean old lady, but that wasn't why the house was scary. No, it was scary because it was haunted! "Why do we never walk down that way?" Eve's friend, Janet, pointed down the street towards Mrs. Heller's house. "That house is haunted," Eve told Janet. Janet rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right! There are no such things as ghosts and goblins and scary things like that. I'm going to go inside." Eve's eyes nearly popped out of her head. "You're going to ... what???" Janet was determined. "You heard me." And she started to walk towards the house. Because Eve was a good friend, she knew she couldn't leave Janet to go into a haunted house alone, so she followed Janet, even though her heart was thumping rapidly with fright. Within seconds Janet and Eve were fleeing down the street screaming. Mrs. Heller took off a mask and laughed as the girls ran away in fright.

Martin was walking home from school one day and not really watching where he was going when suddenly he was falling into a hole. He landed with a loud "thud" and noticed that he was in something sticky. He lifted his hand and the sticky stuff was all over it. It took a while to climb out of the hole but once he did, he went home to take a shower. What he didn't know was that the sticky stuff was radioactive waste. When Martin woke up the next morning, he found that the radioactive waste had given him superpowers! The next day when Martin went to school he was wearing super swag cloths and everyone stared (because most of the time Martin was a total geek) Suddenly Drake (the school bully) walked around the corner "Hey geek face" He said to Martin. Martin grabbed Drake and threw him across the hall. Drake screamed like a baby. From then on martin was known as the superhero of school, but soon it got out of hand and Martin started becoming the nightmare. Finally the whole school tricked him into falling into the pit again. When Martin got out he no longer had super powers. Even though Martin was sad he learned an important lesson. Watch where you're going

There once was a girl named Bekah. She was very kind and imaginative, and she liked to play outside. One day as she was playing in her backyard, she noticed something moving in the bushes. At first she was a little frightened, but curiosity got the better of her and she decided to move closer to get a better look. The leaves of the bush continued to shake and as she peered inside the plant, to her surprise, a small troll jumped out. Bekah screamed and stepped back. The troll looked just as afraid of Bekah as she was afraid of the troll so after a few minutes, Bekah said, "What is your name?" "Gruffy" the troll said in a grumpy voice. "Well what are you doing here?" Bekah asked. I'm here because I need you to help me. "With what?' Bekah asked. "I need you for a quest" he said. "like Narnia" Bekah said. Gruffy looked at me and said Just like Narnia... So Bekah ended up traceling to many kindoms fighting crime and saving the world. Soon Gruffy made Bekah a master NINJA. Now Bekah is always traveling around the world saving lives and to think it started with a little game outside.

The mystery of the lucky penny

Everyone knows that if you find a penny outside and you pick it up, you will have good luck. That's why some people say, "Find a penny. Pick it up and all day you'll have good luck." Mandy was ten years old and she quite liked shiny things. So when she was walking home from school one day and she saw a penny on the road, she smiled and bent down to pick it up. She held it in her hand, admiring its glimmer. "It must be my lucky day," she said. Little did she know ... That night Mandy decided that her breath didn't smell so great, so she put in some gum and forgot she was chewing it until the next morning, but the gum was no longer in her mouth. "Owwww" Mandy said, as her mom tried to pry the sticky gum out of her hair. "I don't get it I picked up a penny I should have good luck" she thought. Finally her mom pried the gum out of her hair, but there still remained a problem. Mandy now had a bald spot in her hair since her mom not only ripped the gum out of Mandy's hair she also ripped out Mandy's hair!. Throughout the day horrible things happened including, mud, a dodge ball, and flour. At the end of the day Mandy sat down on her bed she sighed. She pulled out the penny "stupid penny" she mumbled then she through it out the window. The next day Mandy woke up with no gum in her hair. "well that teaches me a lesson" Mandy said. Never pick up pennies and expect good luck.

The dog who was afraid of shoes

There once lived a dog who was afraid of shoes. Most dogs like shoes, but this dog was terrified of them. He was convinced that all of the shoes were out to get him: slippers, flip flops, tennis shoes, heels--all of them! His owner, a young girl named Tiffany, could not understand why her dog was so scared. She decided that she was going to do something big to help cure the dog of his fear ... So Tiffany walked up to her dog he wailed and backed away. "I have a hypothesis" Tiffany said. He is afraid of the loud noise my shoe makes. so that day she took him to the vet. "My dog is afraid of loud noises can you help?" Tiffany asked. "Um all dogs have really good hearing so they all hate loud sounds I highly doubt that's what he's afraid of" the vet girl said. "Well then what is he scared of" I asked. "I have no idea sugarplum" the vet girl said. So Tiffany went home discouraged and determined to find out what this dog was afraid of. The next day she said " I have a hypothesis", and the next day ,and the next day, and the next day until she was out of ideas. " I give up" she yelled to her dog what are you afraid of. The dog looked at a shoe pile next to them. " I have a hypothesis" she screamed happily and zoomed in the car to take him to the vet. "So do you know what he's afraid of" the vet girl said. Yes. So we ran some tests and found out he was afraid of shoes, and Tiffany hasn't worn a shoe since and they all lived happily ever after. THE END.

The first story

Once upon a time there was a princess who ruled on the moon. She had little alien minions that she bossed around all day, because she was the princess after all. But being princess of the moon got a little bit boring and she kept looking at that enormous ball of earth and water below her--called earth--and thinking that maybe it would be fun to go there and be princess of all the earth ...one day she decided that the time had come for her to travel to earth. "KEVIN" she yelled. Kevin (the head of the alien minions) was at her side in seconds. "I want you to make me a space ship to travel to earth" she said. Kevin looked at her with big eyes "earth?" he said in a quaky voice uhhhhhh I don't like earth he whispered. "WHAT" the princess screamed I want to go to earth and you do to she whispered creepily  in the little minions ear. "yes master" he said and he wobbled away. In a couple of months there was a space ship right in the middle of the moon. "yes" said the princess. She jumped in the space ship and it zoomed away. Kevin's brother walked up to him. "Well done" he said "we got rid of the princess" he screamed, and everyone cheered.

Two sisters, one story ...

 

Once upon a time there were two sisters who liked to tell bedtime stories together. They made some amazing stories that way. But then one of the sisters moved to a far away land and she missed seeing the other sister and making up bedtime stories. So she made this blog so that one of them can write half of a story and the other can finish it.
